Pinterest is adding an AI tool called Restyle to help people redesign spaces.
This beta version launched on Thursday in the U.S. and Canada. The system uses Pinterest Intelligence, which combines Nvidia Blackwell GPUs with open source models.
Users can take a photo of their room to see how different decor looks. The AI lets them add furniture, change paint colors, or swap items for new styles. People can also request specific aesthetics like bohemian or industrial designs.
The goal is to help shoppers move from saving ideas to making purchases. Seeing products in their own homes might encourage buying the saved items.
Restyle starts as an early preview but will expand next month.
