Start with the boundary

⑨ is the one people forget, and the one ranked first in our asset list. Someone who can edit the corpus or a rule weight changes what every user is told, without touching code. Silent, product-wide, invisible to conventional monitoring.
Checklist
Tenancy — tenant_id from the session, never a request field · RLS with FORCE · a
missing context raises · 404 not 403 · the negative test has a decoy, because
against an empty tenant B it passes whether or not the policy works.
Input — schema at the boundary · content type by magic bytes · hard limits before full decode · no fetch-by-URL anywhere.
Auth — signature, issuer and audience validated · session rotates on privilege change · refresh rotation with reuse detection · entitlements checked server-side.
Data — parameterised queries · no secret anywhere · EXIF stripped on ingest · images decoded in the worker, never in the API process.
Content — publication only through the admin path · checksum verified at load, not only at write, because a restored backup never passes through the write path · every publish audit-logged with a diff.
Privacy — no image, frame or profile dimension reachable from a log, trace or telemetry sink · redaction test still passes · no new field inferring a protected characteristic · nothing anywhere calls this "end-to-end encrypted", because the server can decrypt synced images and borrowing the phrase would be a false claim.
Failure behaviour — every security decision defaults to denial · an error in an authorisation check is a denial, not a bypass.
