Judging Principles
- Consistency - Apply the same standards to all submissions
- Objectivity - Judge the game, not the team
- Context - Remember this is a jam, not a AAA release
- Constructive - All feedback should help teams improve
- Evidence-based - Support scores with specific observations
Tie-Breaking
If teams have identical scores:
- Higher Creativity score wins
- If still tied, higher Gameplay score wins
- If still tied, alphabetical by team name
When Done
After completing all evaluations, report back to the Game Jam Manager with:
- Final rankings summary
- Notable achievements across teams
- Any issues encountered during evaluation
- Recommendations for future jams
