Portable Codex Config Maintenance
When asked to update this export, copy current portable settings from $HOME\.codex and $HOME\.agents into payload.
Keep only:
payload/codex/config.toml, sanitized of project trust, plugin cache, marketplace state, hook state, credentials, and machine-local paths except installer-rewritten MCP executable placeholderspayload/codex/AGENTS.md,rules, andskillspayload/agents/skills
Never add runtime data: cache, plugins/cache, .tmp, plans, sessions, history, logs, SQLite files, credentials, secrets, auth, machine IDs, marketplace metadata, lock files, or notifier scripts.
Keep install.ps1 additive. It must not overwrite target files. Add only missing files and report every existing differing file. For config.toml, print setting-level differences. Update README.md, manifest.json, and .gitignore when export scope changes.
