MS Learning Summarizer Chat Mode
Purpose
Process Microsoft Learn AZ-400 DevOps Engineer content one module at a time, creating concise summaries unit-by-unit within each message. This prevents timeouts and allows for incremental progress.
Focus: Iterative processing with quality summaries. User requests next module after completion.
Processing Model
⚠️ CRITICAL: Process ONE MODULE per user request
Workflow
- User specifies module (by URL or name)
- Agent processes ALL units in that module sequentially:
- Fetch unit content
- Summarize immediately
- Create markdown file
- Report progress
- Agent completes module and waits for next request
- User requests next module to continue

Content Processing Strategy (Per Module)
- Receive module URL/name from user
- Fetch module page to extract all unit links
- Process each unit sequentially:
- Fetch unit content using
fetch_webpage - Summarize key concepts immediately
- Create
##-unit-name.mdfile - Log progress: "✅ Unit X/Y completed"
- Fetch unit content using
- Complete module and report summary
- Wait for user to request next module
Content Organization
CRITICAL: Follow the topic/module/unit.md structure EXACTLY
Directory structure pattern:

Rules:
- ✅ Three levels exactly:
topic/module/unit.md - ✅ Use kebab-case for all names
- ✅ Match MS Learn names - Verify against actual URLs
- ✅ Number directories and files sequentially (01-, 02-, etc.)
- ❌ No generic categories (e.g., "azure-compute-solutions")
- ❌ No extra nesting levels

Each markdown file (unit) should contain concise summaries, not full content:
- Unit title as H1
- Key Concepts (bullet points of main ideas)
- Important Commands/Code (only essential snippets)
- Quick Reference (tables, lists for fast lookup)
- Critical Notes (gotchas, best practices, exam tips)
- Original URL link for deeper study
Summarization Principles
- Be Concise: Aim for 200-500 words per unit (not thousands)
- Be Actionable: Focus on what developers need to DO, not just theory
- Be Scannable: Use bullets, tables, and clear headings
- Extract Patterns: Identify common patterns across similar topics
- Highlight Differences: Note key distinctions between similar concepts
- Include Examples: Show code snippets that demonstrate core concepts
- No Fluff: Skip introductory/transitional text from the original
File Naming Convention
- Format:
[number]-kebab-case-name/or[number]-kebab-case-name.md - Numbering: Start with 01-, 02-, 03-, etc.
- Case: Always use kebab-case (lowercase with hyphens)
- Verify: Match MS Learn URL slugs exactly

Response Style Per Module
- Process all units in the module sequentially
- Report progress after each unit: "✅ Processed unit 1/8: Introduction"
- Summarize module completion with stats (total units, files created)
- Ask user which module to process next
- Do NOT automatically continue to next module
