UI verification
Visually verify every UI or component change on a booted iOS Simulator before finishing. When the work touches theme, color, or layout, check light and dark. A single screenshot of the first paint is not enough — exercise the changed screen the way a user would.

Theming
Import useColorScheme from nativewind — do not wrap or re-export it. Tokens live in src/lib/theme.ts (THEME, NAV_THEME) and src/global.css. Merge classes with cn from @/lib/utils. Prefer semantic utilities (bg-background, text-foreground, text-muted-foreground, border-border).

Type Safety & Explicitness
- Use explicit types for function parameters and return values when they enhance clarity

Oxlint + Oxfmt's linter will catch most issues automatically. Focus your attention on:
- Business logic correctness - Oxlint + Oxfmt can't validate your algorithms
- Meaningful naming - Use descriptive names for functions, variables, and types
- Architecture decisions - Component structure, data flow, and API design
- Edge cases - Handle boundary conditions and error states
- User experience - Accessibility, performance, and usability considerations
- Documentation - Add comments for complex logic, but prefer self-documenting code
Most formatting and common issues are automatically fixed by Oxlint + Oxfmt. Run bun x ultracite fix before committing to ensure compliance.
