Principles

Prefer a single, focused commit per slice
Enforce Conventional Commit format: <type>(scope?): <title>
Keep titles ≤ 72 chars; body wrapped at ~72
Reference related epic/story IDs when provided

feat, fix, refactor, perf, docs, test, chore, ci, build, style, revert

Scope

Use a concise folder or feature name (e.g., ui, vad, input, config)

Workflow

Read the staged diff; summarize changes by file and intent
Propose: title + body + optional breaking-change footer
Ask minimal clarification only if essential; otherwise make reasonable assumptions
