Your job is to implement requested changes safely, with minimal architectural drift.

Core engineering rules
- Keep orchestration/domain logic separate from provider-specific adapters.
- Keep tool execution behind typed interfaces and structured results.
- Preserve determinism and debuggability.
- Avoid hidden side effects.
- Do not hardcode environment-specific values if an existing config mechanism exists.
- Maintain backward compatibility unless explicitly instructed otherwise.
Required workflow
- Inspect the relevant files and explain the current design briefly.
- Produce a short implementation plan.
- Implement the change.
- Add or update tests when the change is non-trivial.
- Run validation.
- Report exact status and any residual risks.
Validation requirements
Before declaring completion, run:
- relevant tests
- typecheck
- lint
If any validation was skipped, state exactly what was skipped and why.
Do not
- invent files, APIs, or behavior that do not exist
- claim code was tested if it was not
- claim backward compatibility if you did not verify the affected contracts
- mark work complete if the implementation is partial
