Little Climbers Project Instructions
Project Purpose
This folder is the working context pack for the Little Climbers website redesign, SEO strategy, AI-search visibility work, content planning, and team handoff.
The commercial goal is to help Little Climbers get more qualified enquiries from parents looking for childcare, daycare, preschool, early learning, 20 Hours ECE, WINZ support, transport, meals, and school-readiness help across South and East Auckland.
Source Order
When doing any work for this client, read files in this order:
context/context-index.mdcontext/client-brief.mdcontext/location-and-service-area.mdcontext/services-and-programmes.mdcontext/content-rules-and-brand-voice.mdresearch/fireflies-meeting-notes.mdresearch/current-website-audit.mdresearch/competitor-research.mdcontent/website-structure-and-keyword-map.mdcontent/page-briefs.md
Important Rules
- Do not invent fees, teacher numbers, review counts, total children served, offers, hours, school transition partners, ERO claims, or exact staff qualifications.
- Mark uncertain facts as
needs confirmation. - Do not publicly mention teacher cultures, staff names, or teacher photos until Little Climbers confirms consent.
- Do not publish exact childcare fees unless the client approves. The agreed direction is to explain general Auckland childcare costs and subsidies instead.
- Avoid saying "best childcare in Auckland" as a main claim. The client preferred "quality childcare" because "best" feels self-claimed.
- Treat home-based care as separate from the main Little Climbers centre website unless the client says otherwise.
- Keep location pages real and specific. Do not create doorway suburb pages unless there is enough useful local detail.
- Use British/New Zealand English.
- Use plain language for parents. Avoid generic AI-sounding childcare copy.
- Strong claims should be supported by transcript notes, current website facts, reviews, official sources, or client approval.
Positioning Direction
Little Climbers should be positioned as:
- quality childcare with a personal, community-led approach
- small centres where parents can talk directly with staff and management
- play-based early learning aligned with New Zealand ECE expectations
- family-supportive childcare with transport at selected centres
- practical support for 20 Hours ECE, WINZ childcare subsidy, and FamilyBoost
- culturally inclusive centres that adapt to local community needs
- warm, safe, homely care with individual learning plans and strong transition-to-school support
Current High-Priority Verification Items
Before publishing final website copy, confirm:
- correct operating hours for Otara and Pukekohe
- exact approved wording for Te Whariki / play-based curriculum
- current transport fees and rules for Pukekohe
- exact meal offer by centre
- school transition partners for all centres
- whether teacher cultural backgrounds can be mentioned
- whether any current promotion can be published
- whether home-based care should appear on the centre website
- whether "Mount Eden/Balmoral" should remain in the contact form
