Project guidance

• Keep one global Cleanup action. Each discovered artifact has an Include checkbox, selected by default; unchecked artifacts must never be claimed for deletion.
• Disable selection changes for removing or removed entries. Preserve selection when duplicate scan results arrive. Cleanup counts and progress use selected items.
• Name/path search only filters the visible list. Clearly explain that checked hidden entries remain selected for Cleanup.
• Select/deselect all applies only to currently visible, editable rows. Hidden, removing, and removed rows keep their selection; later discoveries default to selected.
• Discover Cargo target, manifest-backed Node node_modules, and Gradle build directories. Delete only the exact discovered artifact path; never project roots.
• Do not traverse artifact directories. Keep filesystem discovery off the UI thread, stream results, bound progress traffic, and support cooperative cancellation.
• Parse Cargo manifests as TOML and accept top-level package or workspace tables; never detect them with a short prefix or raw substring search.
• Disable Cleanup during scanning and prevent rescans during deletion.
• The August design and plan are historical; their former ban on selection is superseded by the rules above. Do not remove selection to match old examples.
• For this task, verify with dx check; the user handles building and launching.
• Style the UI with Tailwind CSS 4 utilities in RSX. tailwind.css is the source; assets/tailwind.css is generated by DX. Keep search directly above the list and retain distinct empty states for initial, scanning, and filtered results.
